GT aftermarket pipes for a V6?
 

ive been offered to be given aftermarket pipes off of a 2007 gt that came from American muscle. I believe these are straight pipes with exhaust on the end as well. I have a 2003 v6 with stock single exhaust and im wondering if its possible or what needs to be done in order for these pipes to fit/work

Completely different style of exhaust used on the 05-up cars vs. 94 - 04 ... these aren't going to work for you.

this wouldn't even work if bought to a muffler shop of some kind?

No, the mufflers are at the rear of a differently shaped floor pan, compared to ahead of the axle on your car. By the time an exhaust shop was done with everything, there would be little to nothing left of the S197 exhaust.

Wait until the right deal comes along for you on the proper stuff.
