Yes you are right the Bullitt brace will have to be removed. I was hoping to have the original altered for me since the production # ID tag is attached. I guess I will have to wait and see.

Hey DTK - are you sure the GT500 brace will work?

Not 100% but I am sure I have seen pics of KB equipped cars use that exact brace.

The Shelby GT500KR uses that one as well.
Do some checking around the internet and you should be able to verify it for certain.

Good Luck!

Been looking around and haven't seen KB with brace. I even sent an e-mail to the Kenne Belll site asking for info but still haven't recieved a reply. At this point I will just wait and see what clearances I have between the hood and s/c for modifications , if any.

That's the smart thing to do.
If your s/c clearances are no worse than those of a GT500 then you will be certain that the Ford Racing brace will fit.

Kenne Bell is now installed and everything works like a charm. The boys at Sean Hyland did a great job and didn't let me down

By the way DTK, the factory Bullitt tower brace fit right back on with two washers to bump it up 1/4 inch. Very sweet
