We managed to make it through but having been faced with the potential of selling the stang got me reflecting on whether or not I still want to do this any more....so here's a kijiji ad

Yeah sorry to hear mind you I know how you feel. Oh not right now for me but in the past I have gotten out only to be sucked right back in. I have never strayed from the Pony and I never will.

Who knows, I've been offered a few neat things already, like a MINT 87 Turbocoupe and a really nice 89 Turbo Trans Am.....I would take either to the track but leave them stock. I'm thinking I'm going to hold out for a boat or a bike though.

careful with the bike if you get one. My brother died on one at Howard and #3 back in 83 through no fault of his own.

I've been riding since 1996 so I am no stranger to the dangers. I'm not going to not to do something I enjoy because it is dangerous though...if that were the case I wouldn't drag race. All one can do is be careful and if it is their time, well no one lives forever. Sorry to hear about your loss though, few things in life are worse than the loss of a close family member.

You are right of coarse on the not living or doing something because it is dangerous as getting out of bed can be fatal lol. Just make sure to keep an eye on the idiots especially now with all the added distractions ie texting, cells etc etc. I will sometimes reflect and think what my brother would be doing today if he was still alive. Anyhoo
