2010 GT hood and trunk
Hey guys, I'm new to the Mustang world. I just picked up a 2010 GT. I'm looking for a new hood and new trunk lid for it as they have both rusted pretty bad. I'm hoping for some help as I want the hood to fit nicely and would prefer not to have to use hood pins. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cmo...4b5926e08c.pngI like the looks of this one. If u know of one similar or have used this one. Please let me know.

I recently replaced the hood on my 2012 Convertible, the hood had some corrosion on it. I looked at Cervini as I heard some good things about it, but discovered it to be expensive ordering from the States plus all the extra parts like hood pins which they recommend for fibreglass. Also checked out buying new, buying from auto wreckers, etc. I opted to purchase brand new from Partshub.ca as it was the best deal. They delivered free to the body shop which painted and installed it. I am sure they would also have trunk lids as well. The hoods and trunk lids are aluminum and are often contaminated at the factory with metal dust before painting and installation only to start corroding years later after factory warranty has run out. If you have any further questions let me know as I just went through this. |
