WTB: 8.8 rear axle, ckutch etc

Hey Folks I'm new here.. I am looking for a 8.8 rear axle for my 2005 mustang. rear gears don't matter, as long as its not blown up. 4.11's would be a bonus. I'm upgrading from a 7.5.

I'm also looking for a Flywheel, and Clutch for a 4.6/5.4. a stock flywheel is fine but I would need a high pressure aftermarket clutch. (im not scared of using a used clutch as long as its not worn out).. clutch needs to have the factory s197 5 speed spline

I need a Driveshaft, 1 piece or 2 piece, i don't care.. I'm trying to keep the price down.

I need a 2005 or 2006 Mustang GT engine harness. 07+ will not work
mustang GT ECU as well.

I'm doing a 4V 4.6 swap, So I may need a few other things.. I have the motor and transmission already. just missing a couple things before I pull my factory powertrain out.

Welcome, fairly ambitious project , if no one else will, I'll ask the obvious question.....why not just buy a used S197 GT and go from there?

Seems like a lot less time and money, but maybe thats just me. Awesome project, keep the updates coming and don't be afraid of pics !!

I've owned my car since new, I bought it when I turned 18. and back then insurance wanted $10k a year for a GT.. it was $1400 with the V6 model... my thought at the time " girls wont know the difference" I had a lot of fun with my car, racked up over 200K only driving summers, and its been parked since 2012 since i dont want to put anymore clicks on it, until its made the way I want it to be... before I parked the car I was making 210whp on the stock 4.0.. but with a few mods. Back then I was the first 4.0 mustang owner to order a Fidanza flywheel. I was the guinea pig. the flywheel is still in the car and doing great.

among the parts ive picked up. I got a hellion turbo kit on it, I bought it off my buddy who had it on his 05 saleen. he was making 660whp on 11psi. with the 4V im hoping ill be 750whp at the same boost pressure.. the 4.6 is only a temperary motor.. I got a 5.4 with 50,000km that im tearing down and building the bottom end for boost. gonna swap the heads over after the 5.4 is built. and increase the boost pressure. I want 4 digit hp numbers at the wheels. if my build doesnt work Ill be going back to the drawing board.

I've followed a couple other build threads on other mustang forums with people who have successfully swapped a 4V from a V6. So I know what im getting into. the car is staying parked until its ready to drive. with the 4.6 of course. :)

Wow, $10k a year for insurance, ouch , welcome to the high risk club, where teenage male drivers are responsible for everything bad on the road. lol

Sounds like a good collection of stuff on hand, best of luck on the search, and you were right the first time.....most girls don't know the difference, other than its shiny. ( I said MOST girls gravy dog...)

Except now I'm 30 and even a Shelby would be very affordable. Haha. Currently paying $80 a month for my escalade full coverage.
