Oh really? I will admit. I'm a noob in the Mustang world. Is it the fact that it's a fastback that it's so valuable? But you think for a good restoration project, that this is a good body to start from? Are there others around the forums for sale (Or not on the forums) that are in the same price range? Really appreciate your help.

 

The Fastbacks are much more rare and much more expensive. As far as a good restoration project goes it boils down to what your abilities are. If you are unable to do body work yourself it can become very expensive. If you are unable to perform mechanical repairs that can be very expensive as well. My advice is that if you plan on paying people to do the work then buy a car that is already done as it will save you money in the long run. If you plan on doing it yourself then tackle what your abilities will allow you too. As far as pricing with projects it's really worth what you are willing to pay for it.

 

Oh okay. Well I plan on doing most of the work myself. The only thing that would be done by others is the painting and the Chrome.
