1970 Mustang MACH1 For Sale

With a heavey heart I list my beautiful 1970 Mustang Mach1 FOR SALE

1970 Mustang Mach1, 351 Cleveland 4V, fresh engine rebuild Spring 2004 with: domed forged TRW pistons (10.4 to 1), 4V Open Chamber Heads redone w/stainless steel valves, hardened seats, roller rockers. Fresh Cam lifters & springs at same time. balanced/blueprinted, 540 lift Cam Research Hyd Cam, ARP Conn rod & Main bearing studs, windage tray, aluminum water pump, Crane fireball ignition, Edelbrock Torker Intake, Holley 650 Dbl Pmpr Carb, nothing but the best used in this engine build.

Car is in EXCELLENT condition, and has been garage kept since it's infancy. No rust that I know of, car looks great, shows well, and some of you have seen it on the track at Mosport, for it's once a year "carbon clean out" !!! lol
4spd Toploader Tranny, 9" rear with Posi & 3.25 gears. KYB Gas-a-just shocks on all four's, front sway bar upgraded to 1-1/8", Polygraphite bushings throughout, 1 peice export brace & Monte Carlo bar installed. has BFG T/A' 245/60-14" mounted on original perfect condition 14 x 7" Magnum 500 rims.

Was repainted once in 1994 and was taken to bare steel. This was not a full restoration beacause the car did not need it apparently. Original interior & still looks great.

This is a reliable (driven to Woodward Ave. Dream Cruise this year & on many many trips) and quick head turner you will LOVE to drive & enjoy.
Have more pictures if wanted.... car is located outside Hamilton in Ancaster.

WOW.....Why are you selling such a beautiful car? How much are you asking? :cry2:

89LXBlack 10-15-2005 10:47 PM

I second that. How much are you asking?

PoliceDog 10-16-2005 08:15 AM

I "third" that! :) (When you state a price, you immediately define your potential market. On the assumption that you're asking more than $4,500. )

mach1steve 10-16-2005 08:44 AM

Forgot the price..... DOH ! (big DOH)

HI
I'm asking $30,000 cdn and I will ceritfy it, no e-test required obviously.
These cars sell for $25,000 to $40,000 so I have priced this car to move.
There is a 69 Mach1 in the Auto-trader for $39,000 right now that is not as nice nor as well optioned, and it is an automatic tranny, the 4 spd cars are selling for more than automatic cars (fun factor I guess)
Any questions, e-mail me at home smason36@cogeco.ca

What kind of miles are on engine, car etc. Any particular reason for parting with this classic?

I have an inquiring mind........
