Current appraisal - May 27/2006

This car received a nice refresh resto in '92 on all original panels (no bondo or patches), came up from Massachusetts in 2001. The car is absolutely beautiful and turns heads, wins trophies, and gathers a crowd wherever it goes. It roasts, NO!... Boils the tires at will through 3 gears. Take your brain out, put it in the glove box, and do the quarter in under 13.2. Not for rookies or the faint of heart. Runs strong, pulls stronger through all the gears, brakes hard and true. Steers like its on rails. Because of the gearing, top speed is only 126 mph at 6200 rpm, but it sounds like a Lear jet - too cool! Heck, it looks like its doing a 100 when parked. No shakes, no rattles, no burps or hiccups, no disappointments.

The car is by no means a concours quality museum car, but it is a solid number 2 driver in my opinion. You can eat off the bottom, dine in the engine bay. The car is straight as a pin. The frame and extensions are rock solid. Absolutely NO rust whatsoever. It has a few nicks in the paint and a little solvent burst coming through the lacquer paint that you can see under artificial light, but the paint still looks like a base/clear job, it was done that nice. There is one small nick (1/4") in the driver seat (easy liquid repair). All seals are A1. All trim is real nice. Honeycombs are perfect. All lighting/signals/etc. works perfect. Remember the car is 36 years old.

I'm asking $32,000 CDN for the car, but I'm willing to negotiate a little now - but not next spring when the value goes up. I will trade down for the right car plus cash. That car at the moment would be a '87 Buick GN (No boos or hisses, please! I still need something mind bending to play with, and I like bigger cars than the plethora of fox bodies.)

The car is located in Picton, ON, just south of Belleville.
