Beautiful car...

Thank you -- I have had the Mustang for 13 real good years but I have been looking for my old roadster for over a year now, and I finally found it in Michigan.
The Mustang has to go. Time to deal. Sell, Trade for Ford truck or Ford truck and closed trailer. |

Help me out guys. Please tell me what I am doing wrong in trying to sell this car. I am getting no interest from The Canadian Mustang Owners Club and this is where I figured I would get the most. What do you see I need to do to sell this car? Tell me what you think. I need the opinion of you - the professional Mustang enthusiasts.
It is a good car with a lot of money spent on improvements. Is there no interest in Fox body convertibles? Maybe because it is a 5 speed standard and nobody wants to shift gears anymore. I appreciate any help you can send my way. Thanks John |
Only thing I could think of is that winter isn't the greatest time to sell a convertible dude, no matter what year it is. Wait until we start getting a sniff of the warmer weather and things should pick up I'm guessing. Good luck, it's a cherry looker, I'd put an offer in if I could afford it, but the wife says otherwise!

Thanks for your feed back. I really do appreciate it. The only reason this car has to go is I have just purchased the 1932 Ford Roadster "T-Bird Deuce" that I owned back in the early 60's. We have traced this Hot Rod from 1955 to 2011, through 17 owners, in 10 cities and 2 countries. The attached pictures show the car 47 years later.
I now want a pick up and enclosed trailer and to make this happen, I need to sell my 83. If any body has a 8 X 16, 18 or 20 foot enclosed, rear ramp trailer, I would be interested. Thanks John |
How about a price?
|
How about $12,000
|
NO, maybe $11,000. now. $12.000. when the snow goes away.
