VIN: 10101010101010101

Asking price is $12,000

Hello all...I have been strongly considering selling my Mustang. The car is presently and always has been a west coast BC car. Always in a garage and hasn't seen rain for years. Sorry in advance for the below novel.

Selling a 1993 Ford mustang GT – Second owner...both owners over 40. No accidents and all original body VIN tags still present, original paint. With ZERO rust on the car. Undercarriage extremely clean. No exterior weatherstripping rot. Garage Kept, summer/sunny day use only. 121,000 kms. 5 speed, PW, PL , Power seats, sunroof. I have a Marti Report for review. Exterior is original aside from wheels. Interior is all original with Opal Grey leather in very nice and very clean condition. Everything works including the ashtray lid and console actually clicks closed. Original stereo is the only change...older CD player in car now with pioneer replacement speakers in the rear. Comes with factory amp....personally I don’t listen to tunes while driving the car so never put a dime into the sound system.
Car runs and idles great, after engine mods were completed it went for a slight tune and dyno and made 300+hp and 338 ft/tq at the rear wheels at local shop. I have never had it at the track so I have no idea what it might run but I would assume a very low 13 second quarter mile on street tires and likely dip into the 12 second range with good tires?? Car was built as a reliable cruiser not a race car...it passed BC air care VERY easily exactly the way it is now and as is described below. Good until Sept 2014. Did not cheat to pass at all...

Receipts available for virtually everything below...
Reason for selling...the car has only seen approx 1000kms in the last year as I just don’t have the time to enjoy it as much as I would like.

Stock bottom end 5.0 engine – Had the oil pump and rear main/oil pan gasket done 2 years ago while trans was getting work completed. Figured best to do it while there.
Edelbrock Perfomer aluminum heads and intake- Harlan Sharp 1.6 roller rockers – Comp Cams HR270XE camshaft and Comp Cams hardened push rods – Ford racing dual timing chain/and lifters. Under drive aluminum pulley's. Everything installed 2.5 years ago. All new gaskets on top end. 9000kms on install.

Fuel system - Ford Racing 24lb injectors – 255lph fuel pump – new fuel filter in tank and out. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator – Installed 9000kms ago
Air intake – Engine runs on a 1993 Cobra X3Z computer with 70mm MAF. 70mm BBK throttle body and EGR. C&L inlet pipe to K&N cone filter. Installed 9000kms ago.

Exhaust – BBK equal length headers – BBK high flow catted H pipe – Flowmaster mufflers and new tail pipes. All new 10,000kms ago.

Cooling system - Completely replaced everything– New water pump, ALL new rad hoses and coolant, new thermostat – NEW Ford racing radiator with Flex Lite electric fan with automatic fan/temp controller plumbed into new water neck. Doesn’t even come close to overheating in 30+ degree weather in traffic. Power steering cooler also installed. Installed 4000kms ago

Charging system – 140 amp Power Master alt, new battery and MSG ignition coil. Installed 5000km ago. New plugs and wires, dist cap/rotor.

Front Brakes – Upgraded to bigger front brake kit from SSBC – 73mm calipers and 10.5 inch rotors ( drilled and slotted) Hawk pads - New front stainless brake lines – Cobra Master cylinder – fresh fluids – 4500kms ago.

Rear Brakes - 4 Lug disc brake conversion Kit from SSBC with Hawk pads...brakes now much better than factory spec brakes. New E brake cables – 4500kms on install

Suspension – Aftermarket lower springs, BBK Caster/Camber plates, offset bushings, new Tokico struts and shocks – Fresh alignment done - Rides about 2 inches lower now but still has a nice ride. Front end was in good original condition so it was lubed and left alone, drives straight and true. 4500kms on install.

Rear end – Ford racing 3.73 gears installed 12000kms ago – It was gone through and anything needing work was dealt with at that time.

Transmission – Car was originally an auto but was professionally swapped for a rebuilt T5 trans approx 10000 kms ago. Clutch that came with the T5 didn’t like power to much so a New RAM HDX clutch kit was recently installed as well as a Ford racing throw out bearing/retainer installed, new flywheel/pressure plate and new hardware...everything is new. Shifts great. Hurst short throw shifter installed. All installed 1000kms ago.

Wheels and tires - 10th anniversary Mustang Cobra replica 17x9 inch wheels with 245-45-17- Hankook summer tires – 6000kms on them...like new.

Misc items – New speedo gear, New motor and trans mounts, New wind shield...lots of other little things I am sure I forgot. The original headlights and fog lights were removed and replaced with aftermarket. The originals are very nice and stored away....rather chip up the cheapies and save the stockers. Lots of the original parts available.

Why do you park in a driveway, yet drive on a parkway ?

If a store is open 24 hours a day, why are there locks on the doors ?

If turkeys can't fly, why do they have wings?
