87 LX 4 cyl

87 LX notch, 4 cyl, needs some engine work, major oil leak, most likely main seal, but it still starts on the first crank and drives and idles good. Great candidate for 5L Swap, body is pretty good, a spot of rust on the trunk lid, but thats like a 40$ piece from a scrap yard, dent in drivers door ( can be pulled) comes with GT turbines with good rubber, and 2 other sets of stock wheels both with no rubber. Needs new paint as previous owner gave it a rattle can job, but looks half decent. Has a stereo, but im going to keep the amp, wiring, and subs, but leave the deck the 6x9's 3 1/2's and the CD Deck, interior is red, nothing broken and everything is in tact. Looking to get 700$, what i paid, I never registered it or anything so it needs to be certified and e tested.

The breaks need some work, rear wheel needs to be bled (bleeder screw is broken). New handbrake cable.

Cars only had 3 previous owners ( I still have the buyer information package)
700$ obo

My winter beater. It's an 89 Corsica, 6 cyl auto w/ cold AC. Nothing special or fancy, but a good winter car or daily driver.

Well if you're a half decent body guy you could make a quick buck by sanding down the area where the paint is coming away from the primer and the two small surface rust spots it has, tape it off nice, have maico spray it for a couple hundred bucks and turn around and sell it for 1500-1700 bucks....

that's what I'm gonna do in the summer so that i can but a decent 4 cyl coupe/hatch...but if i can trade it for one all the better for me

So what do you think? How clean is your car? underneath? door skins? wheel wells? it's obviously been painted a mean looking flat black that I like, but is it over bondo or metal or fibreglass?
