Well, I've got an opportunity that I’m having a tough time passing up – so I am seriously considering selling my car.

I purchased this coupe a few years back and am the second owner of this car. It has 118,000kms on it but that is somewhat overstated as the speedometer gear was not changed when the previous owner installed the 3:55s years ago. It was reading approximately 20% over when I purchased the car. I have since replaced the speedo gear with the correct one.

The car is rust free aside from a small bubble on the drivers door up by the door handle. The rust proof undercoating is quite thick on the underside and I was told by the original owner that it was winter stored since new. No rust under the car or on the floors. Typical rust spots are flawless on this car.

It was originally a yellow car and was painted red by the previous owner. This repaint was not a high quality job so there are a few small flaws (where trim was taped, stone chips on the rocker panels etc) that will bother the extremely detail oriented enthusiast. But otherwise the paint does look great. Clear headlights & side markers were installed by the original owner and show no signs of fogging, hazing or cracking.

The engine is stock and was recently dyno tuned by Joe DaSilva, turning out 212hp and 278ftlbs. It runs very well with no issues at all. This is a perfect, low miles, clean slate waiting for someone to have some fun in the power department. It passed the emissions test in June 2008 after I installed new cats. The stock 5-spd transmission shifts perfectly in all gears with no issues. The clutch feels great as well. It has 3.55 rear gears installed by original owner.

The interior is very clean with new sport seats (black synthetic leather with red stitching), new black carpet and a custom built rear seat delete. I no longer have the original rear seats. Windows were professionally tinted 2 years ago using Formula 1 tint. Racing pedals installed June 2008.

I have 4 sets of wheels & tires that will be included in the sale (all 4-bolt):
- 15” 10-holes with poor condition rubber.
- 16” Silver Ponys (great condition) with new all seasons only used twice during winter storage.
- 16” Thunderbird Turbocoupe “Snowflakes” with Toyo RA1 r-compound road racing tires with about 50% tread still showing – not slick yet.
- 16” Silver ASA Concept1 with Bridgestone Potenzas. These wheels and tires are in very good condition.

I typically only drive this car once or twice a week and during fair weather only. I have stored it in the winters in a dry, mouse free location. I do take part in 2-3 open lapping events or racing schools each year and have not had any issues on the track with it. It runs strong and handles great. The suspension and front brakes installed and tuned by Vertex Fabworx in Newmarket, a Canadian Touring Car Championship road racing team who are both notable ex-Fox Mustang racers.
