Hey everyone,

New member. First post.

I just bought an 03 GT Convertible. I would like to put in a touchscreen radio with apple carplay. But would also like to use my phone handsfree.

I know zero about this. I did some research and it seems like I need a double din kit with wiring and then a certain type of radio? Also how do I get bluetooth to work with my phone/speakers. How do I wire up a speaker to talk into?

Just buy something like this as it comes with a mic as well. The other links are for the harness and dash kit you would need. The wiring is pretty straight forward and essentially makes the aftermarket radio plug into the factory wiring. I’m not sure if you’d need an antenna adaptor or not as sometimes the factory plug won’t connect to the radio without one.
