For sure...those subs come in some pretty heavy duty enclosures themselves, each one weighs about 40 lbs!

Its made of steel (not cheap plastic) and fits perfectly around that aluminum 15 inch woofer)

- JVC KD-AVX77 Head Unit - in my closet right now (I'll install it in the spring)
- Soundstream Referance 705s Amplifier
- 1 Eclipse 15 inch Woofer
- 4 Kenwood 8 inch sub-woofers
- 2 Eclipse 6 inch midrange
- 2 Boston Acoustics tweeters
I've never seen a woofer cover like that (it's awsome looking!!) but if it's made of steel....won't that slow you down ????

Thanks! LOL ... It will likley slow me down ... Another excuse to add more power to the car ... Horray. At least the weight is in the back, over the rear tires - where I need it!

Yes, it is a Soundstream cover. It took me FOREVER to finally find it. I finally found it online at some mom and pop shop. I forget the name of the place but if someone is interested I can dig out the paperwork.

I am running Alpine Type S 12's. But its the older style where they were chrome looking. The setup looks good and has more then enough punch for me.
