Amp wont turn off
 
Hey i have an Alpine deck and an Alpine V12 MRV-100M Sub amp and when i turn the car off the amp is still on....does anyone know why? The remote lead from thre amp is connected to the deck and all the connections are fine..

thats wierd, sounds like you have the remote, hooked up to a constant power...

but the thing is the remote is connected right toi the "remote" connector on the amp and connected to the right wire on the deck....

well if you is 100% sure that it is wired right,
then id say one of three things
1:deck is wonky
2:amp is wonky
3:sounds like you have the remote, hooked up to a constant power... :LOL:

Unhook the remote wire and put a test light on it then shut
off the car and see if you still have power, thats a start.

well we fouind that the splice the guy put was bad but we didnt figure that out until we made a switch for the remote antenna lol o well live and learn..
