1st Wax

Well I am finally getting around to doing my first wax job on my car since our show and shine is happening this weekend. I picked up Meguiars Deep Crystal 3 step system. It has a paint cleaner, polish, and caranuba wax. I'll let you know how the process goes and what my thoughts are.

I also do the Mothers claybar system, then Meguires polish and then 2 coats of Auto Glym wax. The Mistress shines like a mirror!

You will be satisfied. Oh and I have not mentioned this yet (not sure why) but I will never use the new Meguires on my car again. It's a pain in the *** to take off, leaves streaks etc etc. back to NXT 2.0 for me.

Ya, I noticed the same thing, with the polish. The wax was very good but if the polish dries just a little before you get it off it will streak. Now that I know this, I'll give it another chance and work in real small areas.

I hexcx the rain lol It will be sunny bwah. To the question of polish, Meguires No7. Hey Chad I hope you are applying your product in straight lines and not in a circular manner. If not it's not to late. NO CIRCULAR MOTIONS EVER PLEASE

Straight lines buddy, no need to worry. No need to add any more swirls to it right. Great tip though especially on dark colors.

I did the straight line thing but still got swirls/scratchs that look like swirls, wondering if it is just scratches in the paint at this point. Have redone the polish and wax 2 times now.

sorry for the hijack
