California Dusters
Been using the Californias duster for a couple of years now and it's starting to look pretty dirty.
Can these things be washed? If yes by machine or by hand? Thanks. |
I think they can be machine washed, but I would suggest using the gentle cycle.

DON'T WASH IT!!!!!!!
the dirtier they get...the better they work if ya wash it...may as well buy a new one |
I would think a dirty one one would just rub the dirt in?
|
a little google and I'm wrong
I still wouldn't wash it...I'd just buy a new one http://www.calcarduster.com/faq.asp How do I clean my Duster? Because of a special permanently baked in paraffin treatment, The Original California Dusters are made to provide years of effective service without the need for cleaning. Simply shake them out before and after each use. The "dirtier" they get the better they work. If you find it necessary to clean your Duster because it is too dirty or if the Duster stops lifting dust, it can be washed. You may hand wash your Duster in cold water with a mild detergent such as Woolite, then air dry. Do not use hot water to wash or hot air to dry, as heat or harsh detergent may remove the special paraffin treatment |
bah just buy a new one!

Hell mines 4 years old looks good as new.Keep it stored in the bag it came with.......................... :tup
|
Just wash it. I wash mine and they still work the same. I lightly spray it with a carnauba quick detailer after the wash cycle.
