Glass roof?

Has anyone seen the glass roof install on the new style mustangs? I hear 2009 will be an option

I have not seen one installed. I wonder though if too much sunlight coming through the roof on a really bright day will be a distraction? I'd also be concerned about the amount of cranium protection in a crash. If I had the extra cash I would probably buy one though as I am sure it would be a collector's item.

When we were at Woodward last summer, we took the Saleen plant tour and they had a Saleen with the glass roof. It looked pretty neat.

As for it being a distraction with too much light coming in...no more than a convertible. The Saleen rep said the roof passed with flying colours in the rollover tests.

Here's some pics...

Definately an option for 09'. Looking sleek as hell!

I posted this in the Ford News section about a month ago. :)

I personally wouldnt ever subject a vert to a winter. This roof seteup would be way more practical year round, and some people want to see the sky without feeling it :)

That looks cool.

Just get it tinted then you wont have any glare problems.
