Guess what i saw for the first time in 4 months last night?

It was 1LOBOSS. I was at the cruise in at Home depot and one of my friends came over all excited and said I just saw the Boss pull in. Me nickgt and another buddy went looking and found what looked like my old 05gt parked off to the side. To make sure it was mine I only had to look on the black painted hood to see why yes with that rock chip it was indeed my old 05. I stood around waiting for the owners to appear which they did 15 mins later. I said I bet you bought this car with 7800 kms on it and they replied yes. I talked for 1/2 hr or so and will say I gave the boyfriend/husband poop three times about the state of the cleanliness of the Boss to which he laughed. It was all in good natured fun. I pointed out the two small dings which they did not even know where there and the other tiny little problems. He said he loved the new Snake I was driving and with that I asked them to start it up so I could here them drive off. Damn that car still sounds great. I believe they will be attending more cruise ins in the future with a cleaner Boss:biggrin:

I was surprised it had only 8500 or 700 k's more than when I got rid of it.:chacha:

It did not feel weird at all. I think he/her appreciated all my effort to keep the car minty:tup On the first note the only car I really miss is my first an 82 Grand Prix LJ with the t-tops. Oh well:banghead:

Yeah,i guess it wouldn't be that bad to see an old ride again.Well, except for my first true love,my 79 F-100 Custom with the Explorer package, which i sent to the metal scrap yard after selling everything off of her cause i didn't want to see her with someone else LOL.Was my parents first new truck, and my first hot rod.
Did you tell them how many coats you had put on their new found toy?LMAO!

Absolutely on the wax/polish count. The girl seemed shocked to say the least, the guy just smiled and nodded. I sold my 82 gp in May 91 to a patron of the bar where I bounced/showed people where the door was, some head first:laughhard and have not seen the car since. That car had approx 350 coats of polish/wax and for a 9 year old car, still looked new the day I let her go.:bleh::banghead:
