Ok. I been contemplating replacing the headlights but lack of funds (such as paying for the car ) I heard theres a way to get the original gloss. Theres a course film that takes up 3/4 of each headlight.

I just took a couple shots to show you.





As you can see, close to the middle it starts getting ridget.

What can I do?? beside replace the headlights.

 

i wet sand mine. start with a corse grit, ending with a very fine grit. it helps but never cures the prob.

I wouldnt wet sand them yet. Try polishing them first. I wetsanded my old 5L head light and polished them with autosol. The autosol does alot of the dehazing. Like I said. Try just polishing them with autosol first since their not old headlight and if they dont turn out good enough then wet sand them but Dont start off with any lower grit than 800 if not more.

Also first make sure its from the outside of the headlight

 

Thanks for the help guys. I did try the PlastX polish, but I think its a bit more serious. I will do the wet sandpaper thing, Maybe 1000 then 1500 grit? As far as seeing if its on the inside, hmmm I don't think and I posted pics to see if you guys could see. I don't think it is though

I have no idea....but the commercial says it does, and tv wouldn't lie to me would it?

 

The TV is about as truthful as the internet and everything on the internet has to be true... right?

 

at the automotive desk at crappy tire near my house they have a sample head light before and after and it says they do the haze work and cracked lights too.

Maybe another option

as for wet sanding them yourself Id start with 800 or 1000 and go slowly higher grit. Try not to jump grit #'s too much.
