How cold can it be to wax your car?

I'm planning to drive my car until the first forecast for snow, the highs right now are averaging in the 50's and 60's,hoping to polish and wax before hibernation.Any thoughts?

Read the label on your wax container, it should tell you what range is best to put it on. I'm thinking too cold is not good for it to work - might take forever to haze up.

I thought that info would be on the packaging,it's Meguiar's ultimate paste wax, just says apply in shade or sun.

I'd try e-mailing the company. That's the route I usually go with stuff like that. The website should be on the container.

My 2 cents lol. I have been known to wax the car at 0c and up with no problems when I was garageless. Now I have to wait for the garage to cool down as it is still at 71F and with no draft I sweat my **** off. In the middle of winter the garage dips to a chilly 60-61F which is much nicer.

Shouldn't be an issue then.My garage isn't heated but I can't see it being that cold here in southern Ontario in mid November when I plan on putting the car away. I've never parked a car like this before,it's going to be a long winter!

I have been known to wax a car well below the freezing point back in the day. The key as always is thin coats
