Does anybody have lambo doors on a 2005 GT? Where & how much did it cost? What's the upside & downsides of having them?

i don't have them not a big fan of the look though

upside - 15 year olds will think they look cool....I guess that's an upside if you're into the opinion of 15 year olds

downside - they're expensive......they make it more inconvenient to get in and our of the car.....everytime you open them wrong (and you will) have fun scratching your fender.....and on anything besides a euro-exotic, they look like total

They add a lot of weight to the car as well.

I'm not a fan of the doors.

Suicide lambo doors... now that's the way to be.

Yah, not a big fan of 'em. The novelty would wear off REAL quickly, I think. Suicide doors would be cool though!!
Speaking of doors...how hard is it to change the part that helps hold the door open? Mine closes on me all the time and I'm getting really annoyed with it. lol

i have them on my 2001 and they are the good ones these guys just think there not cool because either they cant aford it or they just want to look like everybody else myself i go to lots of shows and get lots of attension from young and old thats just my opinion of corse

I think that Ford should take away cars from owners that do stupid things.... Lambo Doors, Fart cannon exhausts, Neon lights, you know ..... "those" mustang owners. If you want to ruin a perfectly good car please don't do it to a mustang. You could do it to a civic, oh wait they already come that way .... LAME.

Nah.....it tells ya something about who is voting....I lost once because the judges couldn't tell the difference between a real car and a kit car..the mistake was brought to the judges and they still gave the award to the kit car and said to me..you have a very unique vehicle..make sure you bring it back here (500 mile round trip) next year and we wil not give the award to him next year. My 49 year old, time warp orginal car, had 17, 800 miles on it..I am not sure if the other two contenders brought their cars back either.....then the idiots judges said..oh, we don't seem to be able to attact british sedans..we just don't know why..

well u never know what somone will like and i am sure there are some amazing looking reps out there . not saying u shouldnt have won . maybe u need to wright a angry letter to them and make them change

nah, not worth it. a nob will aways be a nob :) Anyway, no more british iron...just me and my 'stang. I have a greater appreciation of cars, including 'stangs. Life is good...and I never vote now...(almost) just enjoy the work people put into their cars
