If you have a 2007 V6 Mustang, I believe it would be a 4.0 litre. 4.6L is the GT model.

To give the 4.0 liter a bit more power I would suggest a MAC Cold Air Induction kit with a Brenspeed Tune along with a Magnaflow exhaust system. I have these items on my 05.

Welcome to the site. If you want to improve performance, the best (first) thing to do is pick up a tuner. I'd recommend SCT, as the diablo tuners don't have near the support as they do. Used Xcal 2s show up quite often for about $200. There are many power mods that will require a tune to work properly. CAIs can be broken down into 2 categories... ones that require a tune, and those that don't. You will get much better results with one that will require a tune. For the exhaust, look for a set of GT take-off mufflers. They come up for sale quite often for under $100 for a set. The right side muffler is a direct bolt in for your stock muffler, plus you'll have the other side in case you decide to go dual exhaust down the road. These mufflers are a little quiet, but sound great on the V6 (single or dual). If you want something with more volume, I have a MAC V6 muffler up in the shop. It is polished stainless with a 4" rolled tip. I'd like to get $100 for it. If you're interested, shoot me a PM.
I have a friend with the Vista blue/white stripe combo, and I've never been a fan of it. The Vista blue is sweet, but the white takes too much away from it. A stripe delete looks much better, or, if you have to have one, go with a black stripe. (just my 2 cents)
One of the best looking grilles for these cars is the CDC black billet grille (No fogs), but the stock pony package grille looks good as well. Why change?
Gears... More gear will really help the V6 get rolling. I went with 3.73s in my standard. My friend has 4.10s in his automatic. In both cases it transformed the car and made it much more fun to drive. You will need a tuner to correct the speedometer for the new gear ratio.

I had the Mustang on the DynoJet last year. The readout suggested an increase of 33-35 rear wheel horsepower, this is the result of a combination of MAC Cold Air induction Kit, Brenspeed Tune and Dual Magnaflow Exhaust #16605.

Once the dual Magnaflow exhaust was put on the first thing I notice was a decrease in fuel usage. Also the SCT tuner from Brenspeed smoothed out the shift points. All together those three items cost be about $1600.00 but in reality a rather small price to pay for the horsepower increase and the fuel savings.

depends on your budget LOL
I bought my Mustang in 2010 (2006 ragtop V6 auto)..this year I debated selling off for a V8, but decided to keep and invest
check my sig for all that I did

The perf stuff (rear end + tune + CAI) REALLY wakes her up with these changes!

$$ invested around 6k all in

A duck tail spoiler from SSINSERTS adds a nice touch.

It will be under exterior body accessories on page 4, "GT 500 Cobra Replica Spoiler."
