Meguiar's Ulitimate Liquid Wax

Always on the look out for the latest shine products, I found Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax on their site. I found the product at Canadian Tire, it was $34.95. Easy on and easy off leaving a deep wet look shine. Something new for Snakebite's collection.

Hey Ray thanks for the video/heads up. I will go out and get some of coarse but these days my waxing is once a month if that. Physically it seems that all I can do is use the detail spray and even that's taxing. One thing when watching their video was the movement when putting the wax on ie circular. On any dark car I will always say DON'T DO IT lol

I am not found of the circular method either. I use a straight line motion and wipe it off the same way.

That's a nice wax for dark paint, my friend picked up this product for his Dodge Ram.. It looked great!
I'm waiting on a order of Victoria's Concours Red, want to try it for a upcoming show and shine event.
Keep on shining guys :tup

Not that I wax as much as I should, but what's the diff between round and round and going in a straight line?? Seems to me it's all "wax on wax off"?

Karate kid method (circles) = swirls

Apocalypse Pony 05-23-2011 06:02 PM

Ah-so ! Thankee velly much ! Make-ah sense.

Just my two cents worth, but I think circular movements might be more noticeable than swipes. Something akin to polishing with buffer pads. Your more likely to get swirls that show.....more than the other. Again, just my two pennies worth.

I agree on the circle thing. My GT has no swirls that i can see of anyways cause i don't do the circle method.
Looks like this Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax works really well.
I'm still a Mothers user though.Been using their stuff since i've been driving.

I actually take the application thing 1 step further these days (since the black acquisition) I will use the roof as an example, I pour out roughly 5 lines for 1/2 of the roof at which point with a pre loaded applicator I will dab into the wax from front to back. Once the roof is completely dabbed I then with next to no pressure the dabs out. It would be easier if you were watching as I did it but maybe you get the idea. The reason for this is I use next to no pressure when applying my product. of course that all goes out the window tonight with the Porter Cable buffer lol.
