MP3 Player for Audio AUX port

Ok my escape and cobra both have major issues with burned CD's and I'm getting tired of it. I have to burn at 2x or it won't work and the cd's constantly get stuck in the damm changers, even without labels.

Anyways, there's an auxilary port on these mach systems and I believe there must be a way to hook an MP3 player onto them. Does anyone know anything about this stuff and know anyone that sells it?

I'm looking for something better than an iPod that you have to plug into your DC port and AUX port and hang it somewhere everytime you get into a vehicle. I want something that's more permanently mounted and you can pull out the drive/media and load it up with songs, etc.

Who's got the info?

try a diffrent brand of cd-r

that might work for you.

some lenses are only made to read at 2x and 4x

try burning them at 4x no faster

I've tried different brands and, as stated, I cannot burn any slower than 8x.

Besides, this post was meant to find an MP3 audio solution to plug into the aux port on the Escape. Seems harder to find than I thought.

This may or may not help you but I own an MP3 player and I think I have seen old car audio that can use the same media device.

I have a Sony NET MD, they play the MD disc. They hold at least a full CD and then some, they are really tiny as well and you can buy 3 of them for $10 in Futureshop. The player is very cheap to buy ($250 around there, maby even $200 this technology sure does come down fast). You drag and drop songs onto that disc and it is very easy to use. You do not need to wipe it clean if you just want 1 song removed.

To load songs on the Mp3 player all you have to do is plug it into your computers USB port ( note: You should look and see if you have USB2.0 ports because this will help your speed of putting songs on). If your deck doesn't play NetMD discs then look to see if you can plug in the Mp3 player.
I haven't had any problems with mine.

Hope this helps.....
