so if i dont like low profile tires much whats the biggest size i can put on 17s for my car

SNAKEBITE 04-03-2011 08:24 PM

I would not go more than a 255

marceltam 04-03-2011 08:26 PM

so 255 is good no problem?ty

Crafty 04-04-2011 10:21 AM

255 is your width, not hieght. with mine on the 17's i was gonig to run 245/45/ZR17 on the front and 255/50/ZR17 on the rear. just to be safe with no rubbing. you can go a bit wider like a 305 in the rear but then you are stuck with a 35 or 30 height tire.

so whats the highest i could go for front and back

SNAKEBITE 04-04-2011 06:08 PM

The tallest sidewall it seems these days are a 60

marceltam 04-04-2011 07:32 PM

k thanks

Crafty 04-04-2011 09:37 PM

not to correct you snake, but honestly it all depends on the car itself, if it's lowered, you may not get away with 60. iknow i never would have fit a 60 in my fenders.
