I thought that was weird also. Often I find that when rust is found on something that new someone has done a repair on it at some point.

i bought the roush in 2009 to find out after i bought it that the old man that owned it drove it all year long. in the salt and grime and by the looks of underneath he never washed it. salt does a number on metal. the floors are all good but the underside of the car was starting to flake. so when i got the motor and the rear end out i sandblasted the whole undercarriage. i am still taking sand out of places i never knew i had. lol. winter just kills cars. even my 2007 santa fe has a rotten back hatch. and i wash the salt off it once a week.

when i bought it he had full exhaust on it but he gave me the stock side pipes and the side skirts to go with it. i didnt like the sound of the stock roush exhaust so i got offroad xpipe no cats and borla xr-1 mufflers. ran it for about a week with that exhaust before i stored it. i will try to get a video posted for you to hear. i just love the side exhaust. its not something you see all over the place around here. ive only ever seen one other roush around here and it had manitoba plates.
