Question regarding headlights.
 

Hey!

05+ GT, is it possible to change the DRL's from the headlights to the fogs only??
Guy I work with wants to do this, but is unsure how.
Any insight would be great :)

it would be hard i think your have to re run wires from your head light to your drl then to your fog lights

i just dont run drl i just have a switch when i get in that turns on my fog. i think of it as a start up procedure

From a wiring point of view it would be easier to just disable your DRL's and add a relay to turn on the fogs when the ignition is on.

I cannot advise you how to disable DRL's as I don't have the diagram/experience with one but on the 05+ it may be a firmware/software tweak to disable rather than a wiring one.

Yea, I believe that DRL's can be activated/deactivated through the computer.
