Out of 10. The shot is of the hood but the rest of the car is the same:D

VAEM 02-25-2010 07:19 PM

LMFAO ... omg ... I rate it an 11 out of 10. That shine is spectacular.

-PLOTNIK- 02-25-2010 07:19 PM

500 out of 10 !!!!

VAEM 02-25-2010 07:21 PM

500 .... and I only gave you an 11. Way to make a guy feel bad PLOTNIK! ;)

SNAKEBITE 02-25-2010 09:14 PM

Thanks guys. I have actually slowed to polishing Kleeeen once per week. My wife can't figure out what's wrong with me. Now that she is not driving her car for work I will be doing her G6 once per week as well. At this point she has 34,000 k's and only 35 coats of polish/wax. I will never catch up to the Kleeeen totals:banghead::suicide:

LOL ... I wouldn't be surprised if he said 500. I'm dropping my car off SNAKEBITE ... Coats of wax to date since 1997 ..... maybe 3 ... m a y b e. (Does liquid wax from the car wash count?)

johnny5 02-26-2010 03:47 PM

DAM i thought i was of a mirror or chrome. That is shiny don't blind people when you drive it.

Anyway to get that kind of shine with a 1990 fox mustang in titanium frost (silver)

wenstang 02-26-2010 04:36 PM

That is an amazing shine. What products do you use? How long does it take you to do one coat of polish and wax? Do you have a thread here already with the steps you do to get it to look like that? I would love to know how to get that kind of shine without swirling the paint.:)

I have trouble putting up pics never mind a how to. Just remember when you apply any product ie polish/wax/paint cleaner use a front to back or side to side motion NEVER a circular motion. I use Meguires NXT Gen 2.0 and No7 polish. In my sorry state it takes 3 hrs to complete one job, in my youth 2 hrs tops. For the other question I have 154 coats on the car as of today. You want a super shine be prepared to work:D

That's true:lol

1low03gt 03-01-2010 04:59 PM

It's funny! When i was in my teens, and early twenties,it was nothing to polish up the hot rod of the time :tup, but now i need a garage to make sure it keeps spotless so i don't have to spend so much time detailing cause it takes a bit of motivation to get me started LOL!!:?

SNAKEBITE 03-01-2010 06:20 PM

I find it more enjoyable doing the black one as opposed to the red one because I get a deeper shine. I did the red one 193 times in 4 years and 155 on this one in 13 months:chacha:

kingboss06 03-19-2010 08:32 PM

red87gt 05-11-2010 10:45 AM

quick question, in between your 45013157 coats of wax in a row do you wash the car first every time?

LOL...His car is rearly dirty. Actually I don't think it has ever been washed!! Ok, well maybe once or twice!:tup

VAEM 05-11-2010 05:43 PM

I don't believe the car has ever been exposed to water. Dust knows better than to settle on Kleen so it's not really a problem.

You said it correctly:tup Oh I must expand. While I was at Zeb951's last year teaching him the finer points of cleaning his auto sprinkler system for the grass garden came on. He is young and quick (thank God) and jumped on the sprinkler head before any water hit th ecar if I remember correctly. He was lucky lets just say tehehehe
