removing road gunk from paint
Hi all
I'm a noob that has a question. I have a new white GT/CS and have gunk on my paint by the wheels from the road i assume. What is the best product and process to clean this stuff off. Its a thick oily substance maybe tar or a mixture of stuff. any help is appreciated |
My method is to use a bug and tar remover (Canadian Tire), followed by a good wash using Dawn dish soap and then polish and wax.

WD-40 works too.

I use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover and a "bug" sponge. It gets that white paint nice and clean again.

Thanks much appreciated:tup

Never used the turtle wax product. I'm going to have to give that a try. :tup

Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover. Usually you can find it at Canadian Tire, comes in a green spray bottle, about $8.99.
