No cowl man. Deep draw shelby CS6. It was a tough decision between a small cowl cervini's hood and this but I think I made the right decision! Only time will tell :tup

Sweet!That is a nice hood as well.:tup
Ford did a terrible job on the design on the '05 to '09 hood. It's so basic, and really has no lines to it at all.
Can't wait to see it on your GT.

VAEM 05-28-2010 10:30 PM

Monday or Tuesday .... This is killing me.

That's the smart plan=patience:tup

NickGT 06-01-2010 08:35 PM

It looks better than I could possibly imagine. Pictures don't do it justice. Sitting in the car it feels like I'm rocking a small cowl hood. But look on the outside, super sleek!

The only downside is that it's going back to the body shop Thursday for a repair/re-spray/fine tuning on the underside. One of the strut tower studs for some reason is hitting the hood and messing up the otherwise nice paint.

VAEM 06-01-2010 08:54 PM

That looks great Pal .... smooth lines.

1low03gt 06-01-2010 09:17 PM

Looks freakin sweet!!
I have similar issue as you,but it's the top of my struts that are touching the bottom side of my hood.Due to my ride hide, and C&C set up,i have to live with it.:bleh:

SNAKEBITE 06-01-2010 09:19 PM

Looking good. You had better becoming Wed night:lol

Non-functional. The functional version of this hood is only available to Shelby Terlingua (spelling?) owners that can prove ownership.

I myself like them non functional when the vents sit over the engine, something to do with weather, rain,or just all around trying to keep the engine bay clean LOL.Mine hoddès vents are faux aswell.

If the weather is good I'm there minus the car of coarse. Oh it only took me 2 hours to walk the 12.5 kms home and I was not really all that sore. Nice surprise:tup

zeb951 06-05-2010 11:51 AM

Car looks awesome. Hope I can make it out there sometime soon to check it out

DTK 10-12-2010 04:16 PM

Curious how the hood has been holding up over time?
Any spider webbing or cracking afterwards?

Looks great on the car though, it really suits the car.

BTW, are you running 18X10 wheels on the rear?
If so, what is the offset and tire size/brand?

Apocalypse Pony 10-12-2010 05:34 PM

Must have missed this one during my - um - abscence. Killer looking hood man - your car seems to get better looking with every picture I see of it. 'Grats and nice choice for the hood!

His hood is looking great still but he has under hood issues (hood) that he can expand on.

slvrblit 10-14-2010 07:49 PM

Wow. Nice looking ride!! The hood and FR500's really set it off.

Yup now the issues with the stud on the strut tower are solved (symmetrical holes drilled into the hood for clearance). But now its rubbing like crazy on the strut tower brace. Fawk. But since the season is just about over im not even going to worry about it.

SNAKEBITE 10-16-2010 10:41 PM

How did Wed night finish out for you? Good food great conversation and don't tell me how your night ended
