system question
so here what i got in my 03
pioneer avic f700bt head unit alpine spr 13s 5-1/4" Component 2-Way Speaker apline apr 13c 5-1/4" Coaxial 2-Way Speaker those powered by a mrp f600 amp 2 swr 1022d 10" subs those powered by a mrp m1000 put this in maybe in may and sound really good and i like it just seems like theres potential there for it to be so much louder. i tried just playing with it to tune it but just looking for any help if anybody is running a similar setup and could help me out. i like the level i have my subs at right now its my other speakers that i think should be louder tho u can never have to much base. so any suggestion or anything would be awesome. oh and i have the setting for my subs at 4/8(half) and my other speakers both at 5/8 thanks in advance for any help |
hey there. from what i'm seeing you got that that's not a bad setup at all really. if you want the best bang for your buck with your midrage and tweets, Hertz is the way to go. I got Hertz Hi-Power comonants both front and back. all 5x7's with 2.5" tweets i was actually so pleased with them that I took my type R's out of the back so save some weight. the thing i like about my hertz setup is that i can crank it way up and it'll be clear. i'm not a really big fan of the whole bang from the subs. i like my clairity , but with what you got, as long as it's setup properly, it'll be clear up front, and a lot of boom in the back:tup
IMO on the amps tho... what you've got is ok, your mono will be fine running the subs, could maybe go up a bit.. but i've never personally liked Alpine's Multi-chanel amps.. again, i went with hertz. deffinatly a lot better. but i also paid a bit more... like i said, just my 2cents:wiggle: |
Hertz Italian hand made subs oh yes BAD ASS!
