Waffle Weave Drying towel care?
I just picked up a Waffle weave drying towel and was curious on how to care for it. I have not had one and it seems like I would just start drying the car with it dry. Do I use it just like a towel or chamois? Is it best to start drying with it damp or dry?
What about storing, should I let dry and just put away or always keep damp in a bucket or something. I have heard some good things about these waffle weave towels and just want to know the proper way to use this new towel. Thanks |
Won't work when it's wet.
Wipe her down with a dry WW...like you would with a damp chamios After that I throw mine in the washer with my other MF towels...liquid Tide...cold water...and throw them in the dryer with no heat. IMO, it's a "towel"...so that's the way I maintain it. My 2 cents Hopefully Chris will chime in. |

I actually wet mone first then wring it out real good. Dry also works. You get best results by using swiping motions in one direction. Wash with a liquid detergent on cool or warm then dry by either hanging or dryer, no heat. Dont use fabric softeners.
