LOL, I hear ya. It is however very easy to make a new finish look terrible. I couldnt believe how many 03/04 Cobras and Mach1's at the GTAMC BBQ were FULL of swirls. I wanted to cry!

I have used Finish First on our candyapple red 1969 GT-500 Shelby with amazing results. When I purchased the Shelby, the restorer had applied his favorite polish. I stripped it off and used Finish First and sent him a picture. He contacted me and said it was so shiny, he thought I had doctored the picture. It is real easy to apply. Since ours was a show car, I had no problems with it whatsoever and just for exercise and love of polishing, would re-do it about 3 times a year. Anyone switched from Finsh First to Zaino? Could you see a difference?

clean clean clean

Never experienced anything other than meguiars. Have used different meguairs products such as number 7 polish, number 26 high tech yellow etc. With a black gt the above products seemed to sink into paint and it was quite a chore to remove. Now I use classic gold and their off the shelf polish. I am ex-military ocd etc and will wash, polish and wax the car as many as 5 times in a weekend. Friends and neigbours are quite amused. Have detailed my cars since 1986 over 600 times. Oh ya no kids and wife sleeps alot

Not everyone likes to order from the internet and the convenience of going to any Canadian Tire makes "Off the Shelf" products so appealing. If I can rewind a few years and go back to shelf shopping the products I would use are Meguiars. Specifically their Professional Swirl Removers, #26 Carnauba Blend and mostly NXT Tech Wax.
