what to use

Now I just recently bought my mustang and i wanted to know if anyone could recommend what works best for cleaning the exterior/interior. like ive heard the clay bar works best for exterior and armor all for interior but are those really what i need or is there something better to use.

Do not use armorall. It is full of silicone and will end up attracted more dirt than you get rid of. I would recommend some 303 for the interior it has no silicone. The clay bar works great. I use Mother's or McQuire's for wax and I think that there is a bunch that swear by Zaino.

Interior i just use light soapy water, and Meguiar's leather wipes for the leather. For the exterior i like to use Mothers stuff like their clay bar system, and the FX spray wax.

Just be careful with the clay bar. Make sure to use lot's of soapy water or it will scratch up your paint. I'm sure Snakebite will chime in on this one as he is an expert in this field.

I need to tackle the verts interior. The white trim looks off and certain other trim is vibrant white, looks funny. Lol

I have even considered painting it.

with the clay bar soapy water is not the best alternative the water still has dirt in it.
you should be using a proper clay bar lubricant
without advertisng

Wouldn't the lubricant still get dirt in it? I understand that it could be superior as a lubricant but if the dirt is there wouldn't it be there no matter what is used?

its in a sealed container water generally is not. distilled water would be better
and the car should be of course washed perfectly prior to the clay bar.
generally speaking soapy water is gonna be ok i guess i just always go over the deep end when i detail a car i guess im special my mommy told me
