Would like some advice on Mold and Car cover

Mold all over car while under Wolf Evolution 4 car cover. It started during this year with the really humind weather. It would rain a lot and the sun would come out, get really hot and humid and the next day the car started to get mold on all the high spots that the cover touched. I went away for a week and checked the car and it was covered in mold: windows, roof, mirrors, etc.
Washed car, washed cover, put back on yesterday, rained last night and mold starting again!

Any ideas on how to tackle this problem! Car sits outside in parking lot with cover on it. Has sat out for 2 years straight with the same cover and never had an issue. This year I am having issues.

Winter storage on Saturday and I am really scared that once I get the car out of storge it may be growing something!. I do not have the option to check on my car over winter months. The cover that I use in the winter is a summer cover, no layers at all.

The cover that I am using now is a Wolf Evolution 4 outdoor cover. It has a 4 year warrenty but Wolf went out of buisness last year! :(
Here are the specs on it:
Outdoor or Indoor Use
4-Layers ( 4 material layers )
Soft Fabric Non - Abrasive

Treated with UV inhibitor
Fabric Color: Grey
4-Year Warranty
Best for Sun / UV / Heat Dent & Ding Protection

Mold is a tough problem to tackle and I wouldn't want it to make it's way inside the car. I'd start by getting a new cover. Throw your current cover away. I know it's not a cost effective option but neither is a car covered in mold. Then I would clean the car inside and out.

I agree, its clear that there is spores on the cover that keep growing back. A new cover would be your best bet.

Sad but true ,, trash the cover ,, even if you were to use a mold killing agent on the cover the chemical would eventually work its way into your paint thus lifting the oils and causing severe fading ,, tossing the cover is your best solution ,, by the way how is the paint looking from the previous mold ? you may need to use a low abrasive compound and buff it out at low speed ,, like 600-1000 RPM then apply a good carnauba based finish wax. in any case good luck!!!

Yeah,Greg,i agree with all the above. You need a cover that can breath, but yet protect the ol' Macher at the same time.Do some good interweb search on covers.I remember watching an episode a while, while back from one of those car shows on t.v on the weekends were they wen't in great details on car covers. There is a cover for every type of condition/element,ects.The only problem is they come with a price.:?
Good luck.

Thanks for the info all. The cover I bought is the second best cover that CoverCraft and Wolf sell! Those guys are the best in the business. Even though Wofd is out of business I am going to try and see what the place that I purchased it from says.

I got it at themustangshop.ca, I know it is not their fault but they may be able to point me in the right direction for warrenty or something!

$229.00 : Premium protection with Evolution 4 fabric, the best known name in car covers. this 4-layer material combines excellent protection, water resistance, breath ability, tear resistance and softness. Four-year limited warranty.

I will be cleaning the car throughly and am still a bit gun shy to put another cover on it this Saturday when it goes into storage!

It made it to storage yesterday! I put a light indoor cover on it. I am going out to check on it next Saturday to see if the mold comes back or if I scubbed it out! ahhhhh!

I washed it with dish soap (ahhhhh), put a coat of Mothers cleaner wax, a coat of Mothers Reflections, and then finished it off with Mothers Top Coat.

Will see what happens with it.

I hope all goes well
