79-93' Steeda Lower conrtol arms

I have a set of 79-93 steeda lower control arms or atleast i was told they are steeda.I bought them from a guy on another forum he claimed they fit 79-04 but they dont the 99-04 bolt size is bigger and the sway bar doesnt mount the same. so ill post these up here for $125.00 or trade for W.H.Y Attachment 2081
they are nice too bad they dont fit

Food for thought,as i ran into the same problem with mine as i was in a pinch on a sunday after noon doing this job, plus already had the uppers and lowers for a year prior,so i had to do what i had to do.LOL.
1.I don't know why the sway bar doesn't mount, but it should. No difference between '79 to '04 sway bar mounting location, they are all the same.
2.What i did is pushed the metal sleeves out of the poly bushings of the new lower control arms, got a drill gun and drill bit that matches the stock arm bushing sleeve diameter, drilled the bushing holes bigger, then i drilled around the stock lower control arm bushings sleeves, and put them into the new lower control arms.Going over 1 year so far with zero issues,or you can just get new poly bushings for your year model, and slide the other ones out,and put the new ones in.Then you can re use your stock nuts and bolts.
Other then that, the arms are the same from '79 to '04......Ford just gave us guys with the '99 plus mustang with bigger nuts and bolts.
Doing this will save you time, and money on having to get another set just because of the bushing difference.

Yea i kicked that idea around but im worried about my torque boxes cracking out witha much more ridged LCA and harder bushings and also when i buy something from somebody id like it to fit as i was lead to believe it would. so instead of butchering these ones ill peddle em off to somebody with a fox body what they were designd for. ive got a deal pending already for trade.
