Engine detailing question

k well the 4.2 needs a major facelift.. i've got those little fu*kin white spost all over my upper and lower intake... i've used heavy degreasers, and a few other things, but wont work. anyone have any ideas how to fix this up? i'm going to crappy tire today to pick up sand paper.. give that a try..

If your talking about oxidization you may have better luck with scotch brite.

Sounds like a little scrubbing is in order. If it's not super heavy try aluminum polish

try a steel brush or SOS...that usually works for me!?!?

got some sandpaper and it seems to work ok.. will grab steel wool tonight
