New with questions...
Hey guys,
New here but looking at getting a 66 convertible. Just a few questions hopefully someone can help me with to make sure I am making a smart purchase.
The main issue with the car is frame issue. The frame had a rusted section and the previous owner decided to cut the section out without bracing it, he then moved the car causing some twisting. So...basically, how big of an issue is this? I believe I can buy new frame sections to get fitted in and then have professional straighten the frame. If this is true, any idea how big of a job/how much it would cost.
Thanks for any help.

The Mustang has always been a unit body car. This means there is no frame and the rigidity of the car comes from the integrity of all the panels welded to each other.
Whether you buy this car or not depends on how much they want for it. Anything can be fixed but serious rust issues and on a car that is already chopped up will not be cheap to fix.

Welcome to the site dude - I'm gonna vote with everyone else and say pass on this one. Sometime's you're better off to pay the cash, and when it comes to something as basic as the frame, that's it. Cutting anything out of the frame is bad news all around, unless you're going bigger and better. Good luck , let us know how it works out.
