Hey I just bought a 94 mustang GT automatic. I was driving it around all day and everything was perfectly fine but when I went to a gas station I put it in reverse and the engine died... it did it like 3 times... after i filled it up i drove it home and kept switching from P-R-D and it was all ok.. it takes a second to switch into reverse but it changes gears smoothly and it just had the fluid changed

 

don't use reverse

 

Reverse indicates that you've made a mistake ... and men don't make mistakes. I ripped the reverse gear right outta my Mustang. Just extra weight you don't need.
