Right now i am running a panasonic 7 inch indash dvd player with mtx 6.5 speakers in the rear,10inch orion mcca 1200 watt sub powered by a 800 watt alpine mono amp,a 1 farad stinger cap and my entire trunk is covered in fatmat sound deadener to help reduce rattles, but i plan to upgrade the cap to a 6 farad this spring because the amp sucks alot of juice i also picked up a optima redtop battery this winter i plan on mounting in the trunk to help power everything. The stero is in thecar now but once i mount the new battery i will get some pics of my trunk up.The sub really pounds even with my top down i can still hear my music pretty clearly.

In all matter, I had everything for my system from my other cars otherwise I would of invested in other things than stereo because the sound of the Mustang dominates stereo.

Freeway DVD/MP3/WMA
Ietou 7" LCD screen
Alpine Type X 5.25 front speakers
Infinity kappa 5x7 rear speakers
2 Alpine Type R 10" subwoofers in sealed box
Rockford Fosgate 1000 mono amp

Can't go wrong with Alpine or infinity. I would of went Alpine for the rear speakers and amp also if they weren't so expensive. The rockford amp is virtually bullet proof, have been running it for over 6 years and 5-6 different systems.

is there pics included with this thread?

It looks like you still have space in the trunk which is a good thing. Back in the day my 90gt's hatch was full of subs so no room was leftover

Sony deck
3" dash tweeters
5.25" doors
5x7" rear deck
Powered by a 1600w Sony 4channel

2 12" Sony subs in a custom ported box.
1000w D class Memphis amp.

2.0 farad cap...

system sounds great... not overpowering bass... and you can't hear it outside the car!

Well...it's not really aftermarket but we put this in my son's 03 TR Mach 1, don't know why but Ford did not have the Mach 1000 as an option for the Mach 1? Anyway we replaced everything from the deck on back including wiring harness but it does sound pretty good! ( not a whole lot of trunk space left though!)

Here's what I'm running: (I'd go out to the car and take some pics but its all torn apart right now (custom building a rear seat delete to show off my 15 inch subwoofer .... check out my new speaker cover - its the showpiece ... tell me its not the coolest woofer cover you've ever seen. Its made of steel (not cheap plastic) and fits perfectly around that aluminum 15 inch woofer)

- JVC KD-AVX77 Head Unit - in my closet right now (I'll install it in the spring)
- Soundstream Referance 705s Amplifier
- 1 Eclipse 15 inch Woofer
- 4 Kenwood 8 inch sub-woofers
- 2 Eclipse 6 inch midrange
- 2 Boston Acoustics tweeters

Did not know that!!You would think it would've been an option in the Mach!!LOL!Maybe Ford thought most would drag the Mach, and didn't offer the sound system to keep the weight down.
