Something new for the GT "Updated pics!!"

A few weeks ago i broke down and ordered some metallic silver faced gauges for the GT from Speedhut. They finally came in this week.I wanted my cluster gauges to match my Auto Meter Ultra Lites that are silver faced, and wanted them in e glow aswell so it would flow.I am very happy with the quality of them, and they were easy to put on,none of the needles needed removal for the install, they just slide over the needles with ease, but with care.So all i need to do this weekend is get the cluster back in,and wired up.I'll take more pics once they are back in the GT.
Here are some pics....

I did white faces in a GT I had a few years back and I had a hell of a time getting the guages to read properly after. To get the speedo and RPM right we went for a drive with a scanner and pressed the needles on at the speed and RPM the canner showed. Luckily I remembered where my gas guage was to put that one back on. After we got it all back together the tach needle started sticking so I had to take it back apart and pull the needle out a little. I hope you have better luck than I did. LOL.

Well these overlays "do not" require you to remove the needles ,for the SN95 cluster anyways. They slide right over the needles,it's a little snug, but they do go over with no issues. That is the first reason i went with them, the second was because i wanted a metallic silver face to go with the Auto Meter Ultra lites.and third, everyone that has used them really liked them, and had no issues.
I was able to hook it all up after work today.I am really pleased with them but one thing, the green lighting is more like the green lighting in the newer Fords like my '06 F 150 which is like a blueish/green if you will, then my '03 GT which is more like the typical " darker like green" lighting. So the lighting doesn't match my Auto Meters green lights at all.I'll figure that out,i always do LOL!It's also hard to tell the difference in the pics from green to blue because of the silver, but in person it you can REALLY tell.
Here are some more pics for the viewing.

And where i put the inverter switch that goes with them.I wanted to keep it out of site,so it went under the steering column...
