1997 - 1999 3.8L V6 Engine Specs
It's been taking me forever to find official specs on Fords 3.8L 232ci V6 engine so now that I've finally found it I thought I post this stuff - in the event someone else is looking. It's good to have these numbers if you're planning on internal modifications of your engine.
DISPLACEMENT: 3.8L V-6
YEARS: 1997-99
BORE: 3.810
STROKE: 3.390
BORE SPACING: 4.193
MAIN JOURNAL DIAMETER: 2.5194
ROD JOURNAL DIAMETER: 2.3107
CON ROD LENGTH: 6.091
CRANKSHAFT CENTER LINE TO DECK: 9.232
COMPRESSION DISTANCE PISTON PIN TO TOP OF PISTON: 1.450
