Gear install

Hi guys i am looking to get the 3.73 gears i purchased installed in early august i was looking at picking up the install kit and gear oil on friday.I was wondering how much gear oil do i need and i have seen the ford racing friction modifier and was wondering if it is worth picking up.I plan to pick up a drake racing diff girdle and trac loc rebuild kit at the end of the month. Is there anything else i will need or should get for the gear install and can anyone recommend a good shop to get everything installed here in calgary.

With the stock diff cover you need 4.5 pints with the new cover I am not sure but you may as well get yourself 3 quarts and friction modifier is a requisite not an option if you have a clutch pack in there. As for a shop Tim Anderson at Zero to 60 google him.

Yep, I use both. No complaints, great people very helpful fair prices. I also use Tim at Zero to 60 for installs that I can't do myself. Excellent workmanship.
