cobra intake question

hello gents,
Little bit about the car,95 gt 5.0 5 speed, bought it 2 years ago as a b-day gift to myself.
Was done to it prior, under drive pullies, and msd wires, mac h pipe, flowmaster muffler 2.5 from the shorties to the tips.
i've done pro 5.0 short shift, and i rebuilt the rear-end complete plus swapd out the o.g. gearz to 3.55's as recomended by pretty much everyone who acutually knows what there talking about
3.55 because its a street car, its my baby and during summer its my daily gem.
At the start of the summer i stumbled on cobra u/l intake at a song and dance, out of a 95 so i know it will bolt up not issue (or so i read, and was told)
My question, when i go to install this, is it point less while using stock throttle body, stock headers? im planning to buy some hearders over winter havent decided yet, and throttle body to match my chromy upper intake (but how should i size it)

CAI im gona get 100%, still pondering which one to go with either bbk or c&l. Any recomendations?

Thanks for any and all the help

I am not in the know but I would ask the same questions for sure. I would go the route of upgrading as much as possible if people suggested that. Someone that know will be right here so sit tight lol

I say if you've got it put it on. After you do the exhaust and throttle body like you plan it will work even better but it won't hurt anything putting it on before hand. All you will really be out is another throttle body gasket.

Do 'er up!!
It will still will help out a somewhat, and it's one less thing to put on later. 70mm throttle body seems to be the common size to upgrade to, and should compliment the full exhaust, and intake.

Should look good when it's all done. I've used K&N and Ford Racing cai and have been happy with them. I hear people rave about JLT and have a friend who is very happy with his C&L.
