H/C/I combo?? HELP

hey forum,

so i want to add some power to the stang and want to upgrade H/C/I but im so confused (yeah, im still a noob).

what is a good combo that wont totally break the bank? my spending limit is $1800. i was thinking gt40x aluminum heads with a ford B cam and a cobra intake. i know this isnt the most powerful setup but i will be daily driving the car so i dont need crazy power....yet.

is there anything else in that price range with a little more power or any other better deals? and when doing these upgrades is there anything else needed to be done to the motor?

sorry if i sound confused or im totally wrong about something, i am still learning this stuff. thanks.

Swap out the gears.....very noticeable upgrade, and not that expensive. One of the best bangs for your buck IMO.

Sorry boys I have to say..nananah...why go through all that mechanical work? You pay for the goods and the mechanical to install same....
Option # 1...get an upgraded PCM Flash& smaller pulley with JLT CAI..gives you about 90 RWHP plus 70-75 TQ...
Very driveable yet within the $1200 and you still have money for "other" toys..

Option # 2...get a SCT x3 hand programmer with tune..CF CAI..throw in some colder plugs if you are S/C..gives you ..50-60 RWHP & 45 TQ at the minimum...lots of $$ left over for "other" stuff..halos..tires..you get the picture...Merry Xmas everyone..

True Snake..but like I am sure everyone on these Forums knows, these "alleged" gains are particular to each car. The problem with the internet is it seems if someone..or anyone, says something it is almost taken as gospel, when in fact the statement might be coming from a 6 yr old!

Not that i am six...well..six tee...lol
