new outfit for spring

new outfit for spring

2002 roush stage 2 getting complete overhaul. was starting to show signs of its age. decided to overhaul EVERYTHING.

my baby last summer

completly removed motor and front subframe to blast and repaint

same in the rear

and all the steps in between













just body and paint left now. will be repainting red (ford code E9) with gold trim. will have more pics in a couple of weeks.

Looks like quite the over haul. Keep the pics coming. I bet your dying the get the parts in, turn the key, and listen to the roar.

it has alread come to life. its sittin n the ground in the garage waiting to go to paint. body is already prepped for paint just waiting for march 15 when the snow tire law is no longer in affect and it will go to the paint shop. cant wait to see what it looks like in red and gold. and when you do it like i did its not that big of a deal. i just left it on the ground unbolted the front frame and lifted the body off the car. was easy to put back in also, i put 12 inch rods in all the bolt holes then lowered the body back on the k-frame, made it so easy to line up. but it will be nice to get it on the road again.

I can't wait to see the post-paint pictures too. It's gonna be awesome. Loving that side exhaust btw.
