new car club in Stratford - ACES
Hi guys. Over the winter, a few of us started a new car club called the Association of Car Enthusiasts in Stratford & Area, or “ACES” for short. Seems like most of our club cars are Mustangs so so I thought we'd the word here at CMOC. Hope you don't mind.
Our club philosophy is that we’re a club for people who dig cars and car culture, so all car and truck makes, models and vintages are welcome. We aiming to have a fun, non-competitive, family friendly club. Our website is http://acescarclub.wordpress.com/

Here’s what we have planned so far:
• Tuesday Cruise Nights – taking place at Stratford Boston Pizza every Tuesday from May 29 through Sept. 25, 2012, 6:30pm to dusk, weather permitting. Cars must be street legal and licensed unless cleared in advance.
• ACES Inaugural Car Show – in conjunction with the Stratford Blues & Ribfest, car show takes place Sunday, June 24 from 9am – 1pm. We are partnering with the local Boy Scouts for sales of coffee and muffins/donuts. Freewill donations of money or non-perishable foods will be collected instead of show fees.
• Stratford Antiques Warehouse summer shows – taking place one Sunday per month from June to September, at the Stratford Antique Warehouse. Show runs 1pm – 4pm. First show is June 17. Funds raised will support the local Scouts, who will be there to run a BBQ and sell cold drinks.
• Beartoozies in Milverton, ON – we are going to cruise in at Beartoozies Bistro & Pub in Milverton, ON (15 minutes North of Stratford). Cool cars, great food and awesome live music are being planned. Date TBA.
• ACES member barbeque – being planned, obviously for club members only. If you or someone you know is interested in joining the ACES, drop us a line at car.club.aces@gmail.com.
