Question

When I was working under the hood of my car, I spotted a little green piece of 14g wire attached to number 1 spark plug wire. Looking a little closer, I found that the wire was tightly wrapped around #1 about 6 or 7 times. It was zip tied and taped up with black tape. Someone had cut it off short close to the tape that is why I never seen it before. I cut the tape and zip tie off. It wasn’t attached in any other way, just wrapped around and taped. Anyone have any idea why someone would do this or what it would have been for?

My guess is a signal wire for a remote start

LOL, pretty weird. Weirdest thing I ever saw was a vacuum line plugged with a golf tee. What people do under the hood of their cars ... shocking.
