I always have a chuckle at the horsepower pissing war between the big 3. If they would spend a little more time and effort trying to make them lighter we would be set. In the end I guess the "bragging rights" of having the most power is what sells them though.

Yeah horsepower really does seem to being a huge selling feature with these cars, but your 100% right about the weight thing. 707hp is great, but if you're trying to move the ark with it, the horsepower doesn't seem so fantastic.

707hp and its probably still the slowest of the big 3.

If the 2015 Mustang is as nimble as it looks a GT500 version with the same HP as the 2013/14 should make short work of the Challenger.

Nice LOL!!! The Mustang has proven itself over, and over with less hp. Nothing more needed to be said.
You can have all the hp in the world but it is useless if you can't make it hook, driver doesn't know how to use, or if the car is more usefull being a boat anchor.

But i do have to say that the it is a nice looking toy LOL!

I also find that a lot of guys that insist on having the biggest baddest with the most power, don't ever make use of it. Again it seems to be more about bragging rights than anything. If I had 700 hp, I'd have a tough time affording the frequent tire changes.

Still I'll admit, as much as it may be a boat, its much easier to get traction, hell I can hardly get traction with 280HP and 4.10 gears and this thing would be straight off the line and according to what I've read does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds! That's going to eat a lot of the Mustangs up! Us new edge guys will need some big mods to match that lol! Might I add an 8 speed automatic would be quiet quick with a simple change of tune and it has paddle shifters! I want!!

And is 2x as slow lol! Once I get the cams and head finally complete, the converter and a blower then the hellcat will enjoy my tail lights!

This is like the glory days of the Big 3 competing in the late 60's and early 70's, being able to have so much horsepower available off the showroom floor is amazing, I think maybe that gets lost in the shuffle sometimes. I say bring on the bragging rights, but maybe in addition to making them lighter they should make them lighter in price too. lol Heck, what do we care right? The site spam removal bonus from Internet Brands for it's Mods will pay for anything we want to put in the driveway.
